Mosques play an important role not only as places of worship, but also as community centers that support the social, economic, and spiritual development of the Muslim community. This article aims to identify the needs of mosque infrastructure, analyze the challenges of mosque infrastructure management, and propose strategies for improving mosque infrastructure. This study involves a comparison [3] of three selected mosques in the Kuala Langat District, Selangor. This study was conducted qualitatively, involving a literature review and field observations. Qualitative research is a study that aims to understand the phenomenon of what the research subjects experience. Data was obtained from interviews with eight [8] mosque committee members. The data obtained was analyzed thematically to identify key issues and suggest improvement measures. The results of the study showed that mosque infrastructure plays an important role in encouraging congregational prayers, with modern facilities attracting the participation of people of all ages in mosque activities. However, challenges such as lack of funds, weaknesses in infrastructure maintenance, and lack of awareness of community needs have been identified. This study recommends regular maintenance, effective strategic plans, and close collaboration with communities and authorities as steps to overcome the challenges faced. This study contributes to the academic literature by expanding the understanding of mosque infrastructure management and its relationship to Islamic community development. It also offers practical guidance to mosque administrators and stakeholders in ensuring that mosques remain relevant as institutions for inclusive spiritual, social, and economic development.
